Equestrian
In just two sessions...
I recently adopted my first horse - he's a Gypsy Vanner named "Blue". When he arrived, he appeared passive, heavy, "lazy"…he often showed big resistance to many activities I proposed, especially the ones involving high energy and movement. So I thought the time had come to practice what I had learned about passionate movement with Hatha Equus. I tried to introduce the target as Giorgia had taught me and, contrary to my expectations, he immediately showed high energy and interest! In just two sessions, he was following me at a trot, even after I had dropped the target all together!

I would never have imagined...
I would never have imagined that I would have seen Myricae CHOOSE to trot and canter with a human in the saddle, fully aware that she could say "No, thank you!" and do something (anything!) else!
In the past, I have asked for help to many instructors to try and make movement with a passenger pleasant for her. The answers were all, eventually..."pressure". Opposing her will completely, some leg action (and often the whip) from me...theoretically she would at some point find "being pushed" as pleasant 🤔
Actual result: Myricae constantly guarding, her ears pinned, the one truly pleasant moment was when my requests would stop and we wouldn't move. I was crushed by guilt, and I stopped riding.
Since I started my journey with Hatha Equus - so since Myrice has known that she can invite a person on or not, and that whether she moves or not, she will be rewarded - my guilt has become pure fun and levity.
Finally, a journey which is pleasant...for the both of us!
